One resourceful evening a teenager at Patna Railway station resolved that things should not be the way they were. This resolution was brought about by the filthy treatment of a harmless destitute, being hustled and jostled for merely satisfying the petty whimsical perception of an elderly couple.
In distress as he was, this teenager, Subhrajeet Gautam, the founder of 'Umeed' decided to offer the beggar a jacket to ease his sufferings in the 6o C of patna. This was the first unofficial step towards humanity, now culminated into a revolutionary better known as Umeed-a drop of hope'.

To spread awareness & inspire every human soul to understand the importance of caring the other fellow human being who is not gifted with a luxurious life....who doesn't even have his basic needs...This is an attempt to make every body realize that together we can overcome the hardships & make this world a better place to live in...with Umeed - A Drop of Hope.
